Fannie Sundman Memorial Scholarships Total $24,000
July 19, 2024 – Littleton, NH – Each year, two Littleton High School (LHS) graduates receive special scholarships given in memory of Fannie Sundman, who co-founded Littleton Coin Company with her husband, Maynard, in 1945. She led a rewarding life, including as the mother of three, and was an enthusiastic and strong supporter of Littleton’s youth. In 2024, the scholarship selection committee was pleased to present Kaitlyn Ilacqua and Rebecca Colby with the two annual Fannie Sundman Memorial Scholarships.
Members of the Sundman family, plus representatives from LHS and the greater Littleton community, comprise the scholarship selection committee. Each year, they review submissions from seniors whose applications show exemplary character and integrity; a demonstrated strong desire to learn, and active involvement in school and community activities.
The total amount given each year is $24,000. The scholarship’s unique stipulation is that $4,000 will be awarded annually starting in the students’ sophomore, or second, years in college. The funds will extend through their senior year, for a total scholarship award of $12,000 per recipient.
